The Hermitage at Mount Alvernia

One of our stops - The Hermitage. The Hermitage was constructed by "Brother Jerome" Hawes at the highest point in the Bahamas in 1939. Sitting 206ft above sea level you'll see this magnificant structure and great views of Cat Island.

Mermaid Hole

In Bain Town, we'll stop at Mermaid Hole. Yes...they have seen mermaids here!

Deveaux Great House

Andrew Deveaux's Great House

In Port Howe we will make a couple of stops. The first stop is the Bat Cave, once used as a hideout for slaves. The second stop, Andrew Deveaux's Great House. Built in the 1700s this plantation was given to Colonel Andrew Deveaux for protecting Nassau from the Spanish. The other stop, the bat cave
